My memory of the Doubtless Bay Information Centre starts with my first trip to New Zealand many years ago. We needed a place to check email and reconnect with the outside world, and this place was warm and inviting and allowed us to do what we needed. Every time we come back, we come here and are greeted with friendly service. We find their maps and information pamphlets useful to this day.

We discovered Russell years ago when we stopped at the Information Centre to look over some maps. We saw an interesting area called Elliot Bay which has since become my favorite place in all of New Zealand. Russell has allowed us to regroup after cold, wet camping trips and is a must-stop to pick up supplies.
